Inspirational Designs

I get a lot of my inspirations for color and decor from many sources - the usual places such Pottery Barn catalogs, but I also look to hardware and furniture.  What are the latest colors in paint?  What about kitchen and bathroom decor?  Surprisingly this all gives you a different and fresh perspective on event design. What about combining clean line modern furniture or tables (forget the old standard rounds) with old world  romantic accents - candleabras, lots of candlelight, etc.  You are seeing this a lot more in home decor - why not in the events you plan?

Kara and Chad's wedding is a great example of bringing these together (what a fabulous couple)!

Kara's dress (made by her mother!) was so romantic, but with a modern edge, which was carried throughout the entire event.
