SD Events is committed to giving back.  We are proud to be a founding member of the Feeding Our Neighbors initiative started by National Association of Catering Executives.

There is a growing trend to cut down on wedding waste.  The Feeding our Neighbors initiative is a program that provides food to local shelters and food pantries.  Recently, we patterned with Ambrosia catering to help donate unused food from the “summer bash” of the season hosted by Ernie Boch JR. The leftover food, including pasta, lobster tail and other dishes, was donated to the Boston Rescue Mission which fed over 200 people.

We are committed to expanding this initiative to include flower donations and new life to event attire such as prom dresses that can be donated to local high schools.
